Thomson Reuters Corp. in Eagan, Minnesota seeks a #3 Bindery Operator for the 1st shift. You will set up, monitor, and troubleshoot binding equipment on our Core Publishing Solutions team, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days in the role.

The position emphasizes quality, productivity, safety, and continuous improvement, with hands-on handling of bindery lines and related packaging operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED or higher.
• Strong mechanical/technical skills with troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Able to use rulers/measurement tools accurately.
• Good communication skills for shift hand-off.
• Experience on perfect binders with large station counts.
• Exposure to hard-cover casing-in lines, collating or kitting lines.
• Ability to read safety rules and production orders.
• Able to lift moderate weights and maintain movement.
• Fit to stand/walk/bend throughout shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Review job specifications and setup requirements.
• Perform machine setup and monitor equipment quality.
• Troubleshoot product and equipment issues.
• Communicate effectively during and after shifts.
• Record materials usage and equipment issues in SAP/MII.
• Support safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with feeding, catching off, stacking, and cycle counts.
• Provide backup coverage for other operators as needed.
• Participate in project teams for process improvements.
