Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an experienced Lead Bindery Operator for the 3rd shift at our Eagan, Minnesota facility. You will oversee the production line and crew on core print solutions, lead Tier 1 meetings, and drive continuous improvements.

The role includes training staff, coordinating with shifts, and ensuring high-quality output for our customers. The position requires strong mechanical skills, leadership experience in manufacturing, and a solid foundation in Lean/continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and training others.
• Experience with production machinery in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical/technical troubleshooting and decision-making.
• Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement principles.
• Good cross-shift communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, work direction, and training to crew members to optimize performance.
• Ensure the line runs smoothly and produces a quality product.
• Facilitate Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walk discussions for process improvements.
• Train crew members, including temporary staff, to meet workload demands.
• Motivate the team and build a collaborative environment.
