Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a #3 Bindery Operator for our Eagan, Minnesota printing plant. You will set up, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment on the Core Publishing Solutions team, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

The role is 3rd shift (10:30pm–6:30am) with overtime and weekend work as needed. You will document activity in SAP and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read rulers and measurements and interpret documents.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with binder lines and packaging equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Review job specs and set up equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment and product quality; obtain maintenance support when needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues at shift hand-off.
• Document activities and material usage in systems (MII, SAP).
• Support safety programs and aim for quality and productivity targets.
• Provide back-up coverage for other operators as needed.
• Suggest process improvements and participate in projects.
