Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Experience in an industrial setting with production machinery.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills; able to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement.
• Good communication across shifts and departments.
• Proven success as a trainer.
• Ability to run multiple pieces of equipment.
• Experience as a lead on bindery lines with multiple stations.
• Ability to read and explain safety and production orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and training to crew to optimize performance.
• Ensure the line runs smoothly and produces quality product.
• Facilitate Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walk discussions.
• Train crew members, including temporary staff, to meet workload.
• Motivate and build a cohesive team environment.
