Thomson Reuters in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking an experienced #1 Lead Bindery Operator for the Core Print Solutions team. You will lead the production line, manage crew, and drive process improvements through Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walks. The role requires handling various bindery equipment and training staff across shifts.

The position offers a 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available after 90 days in the role.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Experience in an industrial setting with production machinery.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement.
• Good communication across shifts and departments.
• Proven trainer experience.
• Able to run multiple pieces of equipment.
• Experience as lead on perfect binders with multiple stations.
• Experience with various line configurations and packaging lines.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and production orders.
• Able to lift 5–50 lbs and wear PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership, work direction, and training to crew members to optimize performance.
• Ensure the line runs smoothly and produces a quality product for customers.
• Facilitate Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walk discussions to drive improvements.
• Train crew members, including temporary staff, to meet workload demands.
• Motivate others and build a team environment.
