Thomson Reuters is seeking a #3 Bindery Operator for our Core Publishing Solutions team in Eagan, Minnesota. The role involves set-up tasks, monitoring equipment, and troubleshooting. Schedule: 1st shift, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional overtime and weekends.

Includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Responsibilities include reviewing job specs, performing setup, monitoring quality, and documenting in SAP/MII. Strong mechanical skills and Lean knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical/technical skills; troubleshoot independently or with a team.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Competence with rulers and measurement tools.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with bindery equipment and related lines.

Responsabilités

• Review job specifications and determine set-up requirements.
• Perform machine set-up tasks.
• Monitor equipment and product quality; seek maintenance support as needed.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment as needed.
• Communicate effectively during shift hand-offs.
• Assess equipment condition and perform preventative maintenance.
• Utilize computer-based workflows to manage files.
• Document activities in Tier Boards and SAP/MII.
• Assist with feeding, stacking, and cycle counts as needed.
• Support safety programs and promote a safe work culture.
• Aim for quality and productivity using standard work practices.
• Contribute continuous improvement ideas and participate in projects.
