Job summary

Wingstop is seeking an Assistant Manager in Irondale, AL to coordinate with the store manager on planning, training and leadership. You will focus on achieving targets in sales, cost control, guest service and food quality while ensuring a positive work environment.

The role requires 18+ years old, strong budgeting and people skills, and a willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Minimum of 2 plus years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative and assertiveness.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage, train, develop and motivate a diverse crew that is highly engaged.
• Passionate about hospitality and serving the guest.
• Ability/flexibility to work 40 hours per week including mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate with the store manager the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, cost, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Create team member schedules to ensure proper staffing levels for expected sale volumes, while considering payroll and overtime costs.
• Audit all facets of operations, review budgets and costs, and drive improvements in labor and food costs.
• Mentor and develop team members; ensure compliance with company standards and risk management.
