Job summary

Wingstop is seeking an Assistant Manager in Huntsville, AL to oversee daily store operations, lead a team, and drive sales and guest satisfaction. You will coordinate with the store manager on training, scheduling, and performance management to meet financial and service goals.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in food service, strong leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly
• Minimum of 2+ years of food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage, train, develop and motivate a diverse crew
• Ability to work 40 hours per week including mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
• Ability to problem solve and accept feedback and improve

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate with the store manager the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, cost, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the restaurant as General Manager or Assistant General Manager
• Maintain operations and drive results through people development, sales and profit growth
• Hire, train and develop team members who share the Wingstop mission to Serve the World Flavor
• Convey Wingstop culture and be a proactive team player focused on hard work, fun, and dedication to the brand
• Staffing: ensure timely and efficient hiring and onboarding of team members
• Ensure a safe restaurant environment for staff and guests; implement and monitor shift leader development and performance plans
• Create schedules to meet sales volumes while considering payroll and overtime costs
• Audit operations, manage budgets and costs, and drive improvements to meet targets
• Use company tools to coach and develop team members and maintain risk management in line with standards
