Job summary

Wingstop is seeking an assistant manager in Bessemer, AL to support the store manager in planning, organizing, training, and leading the team to drive sales, food quality, and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in food service supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and a willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Minimum of 2 plus years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage, train, develop and motivate a diverse crew.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate with the store manager the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, cost, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead to maintain operations and drive results through people development and performance.
• Hire, train and develop team members that share Wingstop's mission to Serve the World Flavor.
• Convey Wingstop culture and be a creative team player who values hard work and dedication to brand success.
• Create team member schedules to ensure proper staffing levels and manage payroll and overtime costs.
