Job summary

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to bridge marketing and sales, discover new opportunities, and connect industry leaders with Transporeon and Trimble’s transportation technology solutions.

You will be the first contact for potential customers, shape the sales pipeline, and help accelerate growth across North America from a remote US setting. Collaboration with global teams and participation in industry events are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

Strong passion for starting or advancing a career in business development, software sales, or customer engagement.
High self-motivation, adaptability, and time-management skills to handle multiple outreach streams.
Bonus points for sales development, prospecting, or lead qualification experience in SaaS or transportation logistics.
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, or market analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and nurture new sales opportunities through proactive inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.
Conduct initial discovery calls and demonstrations to identify customer needs and qualify prospects.
Partner with Marketing and Sales to analyze market trends and craft strategic outreach in key verticals.
Engage regularly with global team members across time zones to align on pipeline growth.
