Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with Air Force requirements. You will support engineering and BD teams, demonstrate interoperability, and drive field tests across airborne, surface and expeditionary environments.

You’ll travel up to 50% and contribute to technical demonstrations, RFI/RFP responses, and roadmap inputs while working in a remote/onsite model depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify solution architectures.
• Support BD with technical needs and align with priorities.
• Develop and present technical demonstrations for airborne and edge networking.

• Perform market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with DoD program offices and translate field feedback into roadmap inputs.
