Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF tech with customer requirements. You’ll work with engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

The role involves up to 50% travel, frequent field tests, and demonstrations, with a flexible remote option depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related C5ISR field; or HS diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for government contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Mansioni

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to use testing data and benchmark proposed architectures.
• Support BD in aligning work with strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for airborne, edge, and base networking needs.
• Contribute input for RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
• Perform market research on potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with DoD stakeholders and translate feedback into product roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs; remote work possible based on location.
