Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with DoD Air Force requirements. You will support field trials, coordinate with engineering and BD teams, and travel to customer sites as needed.

You will analyze priorities, develop feasible technical demonstrations, and help shape product roadmaps for airborne and expeditionary networks. A U.S. citizen with security clearance is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in analyzing US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to leverage testing data and verify architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for technical needs and priorities.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
• Perform market research on integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with Air Force stakeholders and translate feedback into product roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations.
• Work in a remote team setting.
