Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Setup/Meeting Space Attendant at the Jacksonville Downtown location. This role involves preparing meeting rooms, transporting and arranging furniture, and ensuring guest spaces meet exact specifications.

It requires substantial physical activity, including lifting heavy items and standing for long periods. You'll maintain room cleanliness, restock supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown between functions while coordinating with supervisors and

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move tables and chairs weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
• Able to push goods weighing up to 500 lbs with a hand cart/truck.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications and transport materials.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down meeting rooms and return equipment to storage for the next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep them presentable.
• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift and be available regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
