Qualifications

• Knowledge of different meeting-room equipment and setup styles (e.g., tables types).
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, podiums up to 100 lbs.
• High level of physical activity during shift for setup/breakdown.
• Ability to move/good up to 500 lbs with a hand cart.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to audience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to stay informed about tasks.
• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications, including room layout and materials.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down meeting rooms after events and return items to storage for next use.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep spaces presentable.
