Job summary

Marriott Jacksonville is seeking a Banquet Set-up associate to support the events team on-site in downtown Jacksonville, FL. You will assist in preparing banquet spaces, arranging rooms, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout events.

Qualifications

• Experience with meeting room setups and event equipment is preferred.
• Able to lift/move tables, chairs, podiums and related equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Requires physical activity and ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications and transport items as needed.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down meeting rooms after events and return items to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for rooms and ballrooms to keep spaces presentable at all times.
• Attend work regularly and follow attendance rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
