HEI Hotels & Resorts, operating the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek, seeks a Banquet Set-Up associate to prepare spaces for events and support guest experiences. The role involves significant physical activity, moving tables and chairs, and keeping meeting rooms clean and ready for the next function.

You will work closely with the Banquet Manager to ensure room setups align with guest specifications and maintain equipment, water service, and room readiness throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent physical activity during setup and breakdown shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move heavy goods as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Assist Banquet Manager in preparing for banquet guests and ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Set up meeting rooms per guest specifications, including moving materials.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with glasses and water; breakdown after events.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for rooms/ballrooms and support next function readiness.
