Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank, and this role will help establish and scale its operating foundation. You will own the Finxact core and digital banking experience platforms, lead deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to build resilient, well-controlled processes that deliver transparent, reliable financial products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of banking operations, digital banking, or core-platform delivery experience.
• Experience with core banking platforms, preferably Finxact or similar.
• Experience leading teams and operating in regulated financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation, configuration, and administration of Finxact as the core system of record.
• Manage Savana and the Bank’s integrated digital account-opening platforms; translate needs into requirements.
• Lead operational launch readiness including cutover, testing, and hypercare.
• Direct daily deposit operations including reconciliations, outbound files, and fraud support.
• Direct lending operations: underwriting, funding approvals, and boarding.
• Oversee loan purchase/sale operations, validation, and audits.
• Build and maintain the bank’s control environment with governance and compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships and business-continuity capabilities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Bank Operations team; establish metrics and reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design scalable workflows and automate controls.
