Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and seeks a senior operations leader to own Finxact core and digital banking platforms. You will drive deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to maintain transparent, reliable financial products.

You will design and execute end-to-end operational processes, ensure risk controls, and manage vendor relationships, all while guiding a high-performing Bank Operations team in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in banking operations, digital banking, financial technology, or core-platform delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is expected.
• Experience with core banking platforms and digital banking integrations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of Finxact as the Bank’s core system of record.
• Lead operational delivery and management of Savana and the Bank’s digital account-opening, online and mobile banking experiences.
• Oversee operational launch readiness, including operating-model design, staffing, and testing.
• Direct daily deposit operations, including balancing Fed activity to the Finxact ledger and ACH/wire approvals.
• Direct lending operations, including underwriting validation, funding approvals, and loan boarding.
