Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and seeks a senior operations leader to own Finxact core and digital platforms. You will drive deposit and lending operations strategy, partner with servicing teams, and design scalable, well‑controlled processes for transparent, reliable financial products.

You will lead ops launch readiness, oversee day‑to‑day settlement, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure risk-managed, customer‑centric experiences across online and mobile banking.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in banking operations or core-platform delivery, including leadership experience.
• Hands‑on experience implementing or administering a core banking platform (Finxact or similar).
• Experience owning digital account opening and online/mobile banking platforms, testing, releases, and vendor-driven change.
• Deep knowledge of deposit, lending operations, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own Finxact core system configuration and governance, including product structures and account parameters.
• Lead operational delivery of digital banking experiences, UAT, release readiness, and continuous platform improvement.
• Oversee launch readiness, including operating model design, staffing, training, and cutover activities.
• Direct deposit operations across balancing Fed activity, funding, outbound files, and regulatory reporting.
• Direct lending operations, loan boarding, funding approvals, and journal entries.
