Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and this role will establish and scale the operating foundation. You will own the Finxact core and digital banking experience platforms, leading deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to build resilient, well-controlled processes delivering transparent, reliable financial products.

You will oversee operational launch readiness, drive end-to-end testing, and manage daily deposit and lending operations while ensuring governance,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in banking operations or fintech with leadership experience.
• Experience implementing or administering a modern core banking platform (Finxact preferred).
• Experience with digital account opening and online/mobile banking platforms.
• Strong understanding of deposit, lending, payments, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and administer Finxact as the core system of record.
• Manage Savana and the bank’s digital account opening, online and mobile banking experiences.
• Lead operational launch readiness, including procedures, staffing, and testing.
• Direct daily deposit operations, reconciliations, and wire/ACH processes under controls.
• Oversee lending operations, underwriting validation, and funding workflows.
• Oversee loan purchase/sale operations and related audits.
• Build and maintain the bank’s control environment with governance and audits.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with risk programs.
• Define metrics, reports, and escalations; partner with stakeholders across teams.
