Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and this role will establish and scale its operating foundation, owning Finxact core and digital banking platforms. The team will drive deposit and lending operations strategy while partnering with servicing teams to create resilient, controlled processes delivering transparent financial products.

You will lead operational launch readiness, staff and training, and oversee daily deposit and lending operations, with extensive governance and risk oversight.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of banking operations or core-platform delivery experience in regulated environments.
• Experience implementing or administering a modern core banking platform.
• Ability to design controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Tackle deployment and ongoing administration of Finxact as core system of record.
• Lead operational delivery for digital account-opening and online/mobile banking.
• Oversee launch readiness, staffing, training, and cutover activities.
• Direct deposit and lending operations, including reconciliations and funding.
