Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and this role will help establish and scale its operating foundation. You will own the Finxact core and digital banking experience platforms, lead deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to build resilient, well‑controlled processes that deliver transparent, reliable financial products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in banking operations or core platform delivery.
• Experience with core banking platforms and modern cloud-native systems.
• Ability to coordinate digital account-opening and lending workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own Finxact core implementation, configuration, and admin.
• Oversee Savana digital experiences and end-to-end testing & releases.
• Lead launch readiness, staffing, training, and cutover activities.
• Direct daily deposit operations including reconciliations and postings.
• Oversee lending operations from underwriting to funding and boarding.
• Manage loan purchase/sale operations and audits.
• Build and maintain a strong control environment with governance.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and incident response.
• Lead a high-performing Operations team with metrics and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and others to design scalable workflows.
