Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and seeks a leader to establish and scale its operating foundation. You will own Finxact as the core system, drive deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to build resilient, well‑controlled processes delivering transparent financial products.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, data, finance, risk, compliance, and vendors to design scalable workflows and automate controls, ensuring safe, reliable customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years in banking operations or fintech
• Experience with core banking platforms (Finxact preferred)
• Experience owning digital banking platforms and vendor changes
• Strong regulatory and risk awareness

Responsibilities

• Own the core banking platform configuration and admin
• Lead digital account-opening and online/mobile experiences
• Oversee operational launch readiness and staff training
• Direct deposit and lending operations with strict controls
• Oversee loan purchase/sale operations and audits
• Develop and maintain bank's control environment and governance
