Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and this role will establish and scale its operating foundation. You will own the Finxact core and digital banking experiences, lead deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to implement transparent, reliable financial products.

You will drive operational launch readiness, oversee daily deposit operations, lending, and vendor management, while working with multiple teams to design scalable, resilient processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the Finxact core system configuration, product structures, rates, fees, and posting rules.
• Lead the operational delivery for Savana, digital account opening, and online/mobile banking experiences.
• Drive launch readiness: procedures, staffing, testing, cutover, and transition to BAU.
• Oversee deposit and lending operations, including funding, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Accounting, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Vendors to design scalable workflows.
