Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and lead team members in delivering high‑quality cakes, a warm guest experience, and strong bakery performance.

You will assist in recruiting, training and supervising staff, maintaining NbC standards, managing cake production, inventory, and daily operations, and helping execute local marketing events to grow sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service; lead role preferred.
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff; meet productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experience and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist Bakery Manager in operating cake production, brand presentation and inventory control.
• Support recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing feedback.
• Maintain NbC standards for product, service, safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with scheduling, ordering, payroll processing and financial housekeeping.
