Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver highest-quality cakes, a welcoming environment, and superior guest experiences. This role shares leadership duties, drives sales and profitability, and ensures NbC standards across operations.

The position supports recruitment, training, scheduling, and inventory control while maintaining brand integrity and a positive work culture at the Charlotte-area shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, work environment, and inventory control.
• Support recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing performance feedback and coaching.
• Ensure NbC standards in product, service, bakery environment, and safety compliance.
• Assist in operational/admin tasks including scheduling, payroll processing, and expense control.
