Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to support the Bakery Manager in leading daily operations, guest experience, cake production, and merchandising. You will help recruit, train, and coach team members while ensuring NbC standards and food safety compliance.

The role calls for strong organizational skills, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to NbC culture. This full-time position requires flexibility with shifts and hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role.
• Experience coaching others, directing work and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Leads with the Bakery Manager in guest experience, cake production, and merchandising.
• Supports recruiting, training, directing daily work, and coaching.
• Ensures standards and health/safety requirements are met in bakery operations.
• Assists with operational tasks, scheduling, inventory, and sales reporting.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment and large orders.
• Contributes to marketing events and community presence.
• Maintains knowledge of bakery roles and cross-trains as needed.
