Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to work alongside the Bakery Manager, driving guest experience, cake production, and brand standards in a high-volume store. You will coach and develop team members, oversee daily operations, scheduling, and inventory, and partner with leadership to ensure profitability and a welcoming NbC culture for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role.
• Experience leading and coaching teams to achieve productivity and guest satisfaction.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and models superior guest engagement.
• Partner with Bakery Manager in all aspects of guest experience, cake production, brand and inventory management.
• Recruit, train, and coach team members; direct daily work and provide feedback.
• Ensure food safety, quality standards, and NbC policies are followed in all bakery operations.
• Assist with scheduling, productivity goals, and basic accounting/reporting tasks; support payroll processing.
• Co-manage special-order fulfillment for guests and corporate accounts; assist with openings/closes.
