Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct daily bakery operations, lead the team, and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will oversee cake production, merchandising, inventory, and compliance with safety standards while driving sales and profitability.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage schedules and payroll, and coordinate local marketing and community outreach to strengthen NbC’s presence in the market. Flexibility for varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs team and day-to-day bakery operations, ensuring guest experience, cake production, merchandising, and safety standards are upheld.
• Recruits, trains and develops staff; sets expectations and conducts performance reviews.
• Oversees opening/closing, cash handling, and inventory management; manages payroll and basic accounting with a focus on profitability.
• Leads local marketing and community outreach to boost brand visibility and engagement.
• Monitors costs (labor, COGS, maintenance) to maximize profitability and maintain store standards.
