Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Assistant Bakery Manager works with the Bakery Manager to create high-quality cakes, a welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. This role partners in leading team members and driving sales and profitability while ensuring NbC standards are met across bakery operations.

The position emphasizes staff development, scheduling, inventory control, and adherence to food safety. It also supports marketing events and daily financial tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Partners with the Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand presentation, and inventory control.
• Supports the Bakery Manager in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing performance feedback.
