Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes #233 seeks a Bakery Manager/Lead Operator to lead daily operations, oversee cake production, brand presentation and staff performance. You will drive sales, recruit and coach a team, and ensure a welcoming environment with exceptional guest service.

You will manage inventory, accounting basics, and cross-train staff to cover shifts, while upholding NbC standards and core values in this fast‑paced bakery setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post‑secondary education is a plus.
• 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, business operations and guest experience in retail, hospitality, or food service.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs the team and day-to-day operation, including guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, work environment, P&L management, and inventory control.
• Drive sales and profitability through team building, management and recruiting, while ensuring high quality cakes, a welcoming environment and superior service.
• Provide coaching and feedback, conduct quarterly reviews, and address performance issues.
• Delineate the role of Assistant Manager and train staff to support bakery leadership and operation.
• Identify future leaders and cross-train team members to ensure bakery coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of all bakery roles and step in as needed.
