The Bakery Manager leads team development, schedules, and performance coaching while ensuring food safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of leadership experience managing teams, operations, and guest experience in retail/hospitality/food service.
• Proven success in hiring and developing teams and achieving financial objectives.
• Experience creating productivity goals, inventory par levels, and schedules; cost management.
• Foodservice safety training or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Directs team and day-to-day bakery operations to ensure guest satisfaction and high-quality cakes.
• Leads opening/closing, cash handling, payroll and inventory control to maximize profitability.
• Sets weekly goals, production plan, and staff schedules; manages costs and vendor relations.
• Upholds food safety, brand standards and visual merchandising; analyzes data for improvements.
• Engages with local community for brand visibility and events.
