Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver high-quality cakes and a warm guest experience. The role shares leadership duties, drives sales, and ensures NbC standards across operations.

You will help recruit, train, and coach staff, manage daily tasks, and assist in inventory, scheduling, and special orders to support store profitability and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, work environment, and inventory control.
• Supports the Bakery Manager in recruiting, selecting and training team members, directing daily work responsibilities, and providing performance feedback and coaching.
• Ensures product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising standards are upheld and health/safety standards are met.
• Assist in operational tasks, scheduling, supply ordering, and payroll processing.
• Co-manage special-order fulfillment and assist with opening/closing bakery operations.
