Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager to collaborate with the Bakery Manager and team members in delivering high-quality cakes, a warm guest experience, and strong sales profitability. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and adherence to NbC standards across bakery operations.

You will support recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance coaching while ensuring food safety and visual standards.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or foodservice, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same.
• Foodservice safety training certificate (i.e. ServSafe) or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, and inventory control.
• Recruit, train, and coach team members; direct daily work and provide feedback.
• Ensure NbC standards for product, service, environment and safety are upheld.
• Assist in scheduling, payroll processing and basic expense control.
