Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work alongside the Bakery Manager and team members to deliver high-quality cakes and a welcoming guest experience. The role emphasizes leadership in daily operations, sales, and adherence to NbC standards while supporting team development and performance feedback.

The Shift Manager helps drive profitability, assists with scheduling, inventory, and special orders, and acts as a Brand Ambassador in the local community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education a plus.
• 1-3 years guest-facing experience in retail/food service, with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experience and supervise bakery team.
• Partner with Bakery Manager on cake production, brand presentation, and inventory control.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and coaching of team members and directing daily work.
• Ensure NbC standards for product, service, environment, and food safety are upheld.
• Support opening/closing, cash handling, and basic payroll tasks.
• Coordinate special orders and large deliveries with internal teams.
• Contribute to local marketing events and brand initiatives.
• Maintain hands-on knowledge of bakery roles to perform duties as needed.
