Job summary

Fastenal SDSIU Public Store in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Full-time Sales Associate to grow the branch’s customer relationships and drive business through consultative selling of inventory management solutions.

You will support B2B sales, develop new and existing relationships, and coordinate resources to meet customer needs while working a daytime schedule at the 5204 N Annika Ave location. Join a growth-focused team committed to customer success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements to operate company vehicle.
• Pursuing or hold degree in relevant field or equivalent customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong sales aptitude and desire to sell.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer-service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Demonstrate Fastenal core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs and may weigh up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting B2B sales and customer service activities
• Providing value through a consultative sales approach
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success
