Job summary

Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking an AVP of Collections - Loss Mitigation to lead a regional team and drive strategic recovery efforts. The role emphasizes compliant processes, accountability, and strong member communications.

The position requires extensive experience in collections, bankruptcy, and repossessions, with a track record of improving service and recovery outcomes. A four-year degree equivalent and advanced MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
• Experience achieving high recoveries to offset gross charge off.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy, repossessions, liquidations and foreclosures.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to create reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a professional collections team and drive process improvements.
• Monitor and report on collections and Loss Mitigation activities.
• Ensure coverage for inbound/outbound calls in a regional call center.
• Manage performance and productivity standards.
• Coach and develop staff to meet goals.
• Oversee repossession processes and recovery efforts.
• Review bankruptcy accounts and monitor reports.
• Represent the Credit Union professionally across the organization.
