Nuvision Federal Credit Union seeks an AVP of Collections – Loss Mitigation to lead the team, optimize the collections process, and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies. You will drive recoveries, manage repossessions, and coordinate with executive leadership to report on performance and strategy.

You will oversee staff development, maintain quality controls, and implement process improvements to maximize member recoveries while upholding a member-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience; or a combination of education, experience and training is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
• Experienced track record of high recoveries to offset gross charge off.
• Managing specialty areas including on legal and bankruptcy.
• Comprehensive collection knowledge of all areas of collection including bankruptcy repossessions, liquidations and foreclosures.
• Knowledge of workforce management administration to coordinate work schedules for staff.
• Comprehensive knowledge of products and services.

Responsabilités

• Managing a professional collections team while implementing process improvement initiatives in support of Credit Union wide goals and objectives, and acting as the initial escalation point for collection related matters.
• Monitoring and reporting of collections and Loss Mitigation related activities, conducting monthly quality and production audits for the Loss Mitigation team to enhance service and productivity results.
• Ensures coverage for inbound and outbound calls in a regional call center environment, monitoring call flows and allocating resources properly to ensure service standards are met.
• Responsible for monitoring and managing of performance standards for all employees.
• Leads, coaches and develops team members to successfully achieve individual goals and support organizational objectives.
• Responsible for timely completion of annual performance goals, conducting training plans for each direct report, administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
