Job summary

Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking an AVP of Collections - Loss Mitigation to lead the team responsible for delinquent loan recovery. You will direct daily operations, monitor performance, and collaborate with executives to maximize recoveries while maintaining compliant, member-centered service.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coach staff in a fast-paced environment. Florida location; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience, or a combination of education, experience and training.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
• Experience achieving high recoveries to offset gross charge off.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy, repossessions, liquidations and foreclosures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of collections and credit union procedures.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Collections – Loss Mitigation team to meet department and organizational goals.
• Monitor, report and improve collections and loss mitigation activities.
• Oversee, manage, and develop staff; ensure policy compliance and timely dispute responses.
• Manage repossession process and maximize recoveries on repossessed assets.
• Assign accounts to collection agencies and civil litigation as needed.
• Use analytics to forecast recoveries and report results to leadership.
