Job summary

Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking an AVP, Collections - Loss Mitigation to lead the team responsible for delinquent loans, payment arrangements and disposition of repossessed assets. You will drive recovery, ensure fair reporting and present metrics to executives, while maintaining a member-centric service culture.

The role reports to the VP of Collections and requires strong people leadership, strategic thinking and deep knowledge of collections operations, bankruptcy, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience; or a combination of education, experience and training is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
• Extensive collections knowledge including bankruptcy, repossessions and foreclosures.
• Thorough knowledge of policies, regulations and credit union procedures including FDCPA.

Responsibilities

• Manage a professional collections team and implement process improvements.
• Monitor and report collections and loss mitigation activities with audits.
• Ensure adequate coverage for inbound/outbound calls in a regional call center.
• Develop staff, conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
