Job summary

Nuvision Federal Credit Union seeks an AVP Collections - Loss Mitigation to lead the team, optimize recovery efforts and ensure compliant operations across delinquent loan handling. The role involves directing repossession, bankruptcy and dispute processes while reporting to executive leadership.

Responsibilities include optimizing performance, overseeing policy adherence, and guiding staff through training and performance reviews to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience; or a combination of education, experience and training is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
• Experience in collections including bankruptcy and repossessions preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and credit union procedures.
• Strong analytical, reporting and report creation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Loss Mitigation team to meet recovery and productivity targets.
• Monitor and report on collections activities and quality audits.
• Manage inbound/outbound calls in a regional call center setting.
• Ensure policy compliance and timely dispute responses.
• Develop staff through coaching, training and performance evaluations.
