Job summary

Nuvision Federal Credit Union seeks an AVP Collections - Loss Mitigation to lead the delinquent loan recovery team, manage repossession and foreclosure processes, and ensure compliant, high-quality member interactions. Reporting to the VP of Collections, you will set policy, drive recoveries, and provide timely reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required or 4-year college degree equivalence.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience.
• Experience in financial institutions preferred and knowledge of collection rules (FDCPA etc).
• Proficient with data analysis, reporting and Excel/Prism usage.
• Ability to train and coach staff to positive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Collections – Loss Mitigation team and drive process improvements.
• Monitor and report on collections and Loss Mitigation activities; conduct audits.
• Manage call center coverage and resource allocation to meet service standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee repossession, bankruptcy and civil litigation processes for recoveries.
