Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking an AVP of Collections - Loss Mitigation to lead the Loss Mitigation team, drive recoveries, and ensure compliant handling of delinquent loans. The role entails overseeing repossession and foreclosure processes, reporting to Executive Leadership, and coordinating with collections agencies as needed.

The position emphasizes team development, policy adherence, and data-driven decision making to maximize recoveries while maintaining member-focused service.

Formación

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience; or a combination of education, experience and training is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
• Experience achieving high recoveries to offset gross charge off.
• Managing specialty areas including on legal and bankruptcy.
• Comprehensive collection knowledge including bankruptcy, repossessions, liquidations and foreclosures.
• Knowledge of workforce management to coordinate staff schedules.
• Broad knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, motivator and negotiator.
• Ability to train and counsel staff to positive results.
• Strong reporting and Excel/Prism usage for analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a professional collections team and implement process improvements aligned with Credit Union goals.
• Monitor and report collections and Loss Mitigation activities; conduct audits to improve service and productivity.
• Ensure coverage for inbound/outbound calls in a regional call center; allocate resources to meet service standards.
• Manage performance standards and drive high productivity.
• Coach and develop staff to meet individual and organizational goals.
• Complete annual performance goals and conduct training plans and evaluations.
• Maintain and develop policies and procedures; ensure policy compliance.
• Reject and manage repossession processes and oversee legal actions.
• Oversee credit report dispute responses and ensure timely handling.
• Support various special projects and use analytics to forecast recoveries.
