Job summary

Nuvision Federal Credit Union seeks an AVP of Collections – Loss Mitigation to lead a professional team, optimize recovery efforts, and ensure compliant, timely collection activities. This role reports to the VP of Collections and shapes strategy for delinquent loan resolution across departments.

The position requires strong leadership, deep collections knowledge, and the ability to deliver accurate reports to executives while maintaining member trust and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience or equivalent education/training.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
• Experience with collections, repossession, bankruptcy, and reporting processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to train and mentor staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Loss Mitigation team and drive process improvements.
• Monitor collections performance, quality audits, and reporting.
• Oversee call center coverage and staffing in a regional environment.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and reporting deadlines.
• Coach staff, conduct performance reviews, and develop policies.
