Job summary

May Mobility, based in Ann Arbor, MI, is transforming cities with autonomous vehicles to create a safer, greener world. The AV Operations Specialist II role coordinates daily logistics and supports vehicles to ensure a safe, positive rider experience and high customer satisfaction.

You will report to the Site Operations Manager and work with engineers to troubleshoot issues, while maintaining safety protocols and collaborating across sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a fast-adapting and customer-focused environment.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations during each shift follow rigorous safety guidelines; continuously develop a culture of safety.
• Follow daily protocols and track site performance metrics to improve outcomes.
• Report feedback on mechanical and vehicle-related issues to engineering.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and handle escalations that could impact operations.
• Coach autonomous vehicle operators through quality assessments and ride-alongs.
• Monitor health of vehicles and AVOs during operation.
• Represent May to external parties (demonstrations, site visits, Q&As).
• May travel to other sites for coverage, support, and/or training.
