Job summary

May Mobility is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Specialist to coordinate daily logistics and support AVs in operations. You will report to the Site Operations Manager and ensure a safe, positive rider experience across shifts.

Responsibilities include real-time vehicle support, safety adherence, performance tracking, and collaborative problem-solving with engineering teams. This role may require travel to other sites and ongoing coaching of operators.

Qualifications

• Eager to take on a first-time people management role and grow as a confident, inspiring leader.
• Experience leading processes and driving continuous improvement in a fast-adapting and customer-focused environment.
• Previous experience working at a technology focused company.
• Experience working in Google Suite Applications (Gmail, sheets, docs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Monitor autonomous vehicles in real time during operations.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed during each shift.
• Track site performance metrics to improve outcomes.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for timely resolutions.
• Coach and develop AV operators through huddles and ride-alongs.
• Monitor vehicle health using company tools.
• Log real-time feedback to engineers.
• Maintain records of vehicle operations and performance.
• Investigate accidents and customer complaints.
• Interact with the public as an ambassador for May Mobility.
• Test software changes with focus on safety and provide feedback.
• Travel to other sites for coverage as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
