Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Claims Associate I to learn the ropes of resolving customer complaints and ensuring we don’t make the same mistake again. You’ll work with buyers, sellers and dealers to coordinate and validate returns and claims, with guidance from day one.

From your first day, you’ll receive coaching to master claims processes, negotiate outcomes, and maintain accurate files while engaging with supervisors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fluid, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review customer claims to verify policy adherence and guidelines.
• Investigate basic, less complex cases related to claims.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and documents.
• Communicate findings and resolutions via phone, email, and in-person when needed.
• Negotiate and mediate repair or pricing to reach agreed solutions.
• Maintain accurate files for arbitration cases including invoices and settlements.
• Escalate to supervisor as needed and perform other duties.
