Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring for a customer claims role focused on coordinating and validating returns and arbitration-related claims. You will review, investigate, and mediate claims across departments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolutions.

The position emphasizes negotiation, compliance with policies, and effective communication with buyers, sellers, and dealers. The role supports a range of claims from basic to more complex, with opportunities for escalation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Attention to detail essential.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fluid environment.

Responsibilities

• Review customer claims to verify alignment with National Arbitration policies and guidelines.
• Investigate basic, less complex cases or where decision-making is prescriptive.
• Coordinate with all departments involved in the complaint during fact-finding and investigation.
• Gather and communicate information to resolve or advance cases.
• Apply appropriate financial approval authority to resolve cases.
• Evaluate claims by obtaining and validating information.
• Communicate resolutions via phone, email, and in-person discussions.
• Mediates disputes and negotiates repair/pricing to reach mutual satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate files, documents, invoices, and settlement agreements.
• Escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
