Cox Automotive's Manheim operation seeks a claims adjuster support professional to coordinate and validate customer returns and arbitration cases. You will learn the ropes from day one and work with buyers, sellers, and dealers to resolve claims.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typically, less than 2 years of experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fluid environment.

Responsabilités

• From your first day, you'll receive guidance and coaching to learn the ropes.
• Coordinate and validate customer returns and claims with buyers, sellers, and dealers.
• Review customer claims to verify adherence to policies and guidelines.
• Investigate basic, less complex cases and those requiring prescriptive decisions.
• Interface with all departments involved in the complaint through fact-finding and investigation.
• Use resources to facilitate inspection, documentation, and communication for resolution.
• Apply appropriate levels of financial authority to resolve cases.
• Evaluate claims by obtaining and comparing information.
• Prepare and communicate resolution via phone, email, and in-person.
• Mediation of disputes and negotiation of repair/pricing to reach mutual agreement.
• Maintain accurate files for arbitration cases, including invoices and settlements.
• Consult with supervisor on escalation needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
